Born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia, Ben Warder received his Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University in International Studies, with a minor in Spanish, in 2006, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2009. While in law school, Ben was a two-year member of the West Virginia Law Review and was a teacher's assistant in the Legal Research, Reasoning, and Writing Program. Ben joined Bailey & Wyant in August 2009 as an associate, and also completed a legal clerkship at Bailey & Wyant in the summer of 2008. Ben's practice consists primarily of defense litigation, representing businesses, political subdivisions, and state agencies on numerous issues, including deliberate intent, premises liability, and personal injury. Ben is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, and the Defense Research Institute.
