John P. Fuller is an Equity Member of Bailey & Wyant, P.L.L.C., based in the Charleston office. He has been with Bailey & Wyant, P.L.L.C. since 2005. John has tried numerous cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts in West Virginia defendant Law Enforcement Officers, Correctional Officers, other governmental entities/agents, corporations, and various individuals. John has tried cases to verdict in the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the Circuit Courts of Cabell County, Kanawha County, Wood County, Mingo County, Clay County, Taylor County. The primary focus of his practice is defending Correctional Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, and Governmental Agencies in Civil Rights litigation and governmental liability litigation. Cases tried to verdict have included 8th Amendment Use of Force, 4th Amendment Use of Force, Wrongful Death involving a school bus accident, Declaratory Judgment Action seeking to rescind an insurance policy, alleged environmental damage, and business contract disputes. John spends his free time with his wife of over 20 years and his two young children.
