Bailey & Wyant, PLLC was proud to sponsor a luncheon for the University of Charleston School of Business, Doctor of Executive Leadership (DEL) Program.

Over 80 students and faculty gathered at the Equities House in downtown Charleston for a day full of doctoral level coursework. Bailey & Wyant, PLLC provided two excellent speakers for the doctoral students to learn from, as they enjoyed a catered lunch from Swiftwater Café.

John P. Fuller and Kelly C. Morgan, Members of our Charleston office attended the event to speak with students about their rise to leadership within the field of law. The shared their stories of leadership, diversity and mentoring the next generation and allowed an open dialogue for questions at the end of the meal.

A special thanks to Jessica Gunnoe, our Chief Administrative Officer, for introducing us to this program and providing us with inside knowledge of the DEL program from a student's perspective. We enjoyed meeting the wide range of faculty, staff and students in attendance.

According to the University of Charleston website, The DEL program is designed to train students in the effective use of business principles, while providing skill development and understanding of a wide range of areas including strategy, research methodology and presentation, leadership and business theory. Students come from across the United States, and some from further distances to participate in the DEL program.
