WHEELING, W.V. – Bailey & Wyant, PLLC attorney makes time to give back to the community.
Bailey & Wyant Equity Member, Thomas Buck believes in the vital role that West Virginia Legal Aid plays in those who have a need for access to legal advice and the courts, but lack the knowledge or financial capability to assert their rights. West Virginia Legal Aid provides a forum for lawyers who want to give back.
With 12 offices through the state of West Virginia, Legal Aid is a proud funding partner with the United Way and AmeriCorp program. It is the state's primary provider of civil legal aid and advocacy services. Their mission is to ensure that the most vulnerable among us – low income families, seniors, victims of domestic violence, the disabled – have an equal shot at justice, in the courtroom and in their communities.
“It's the firm's civic responsibility to give back,” said Managing Member David Wyant. “Having a successful trial attorney with over 25 years of experience volunteer his time to give those less fortunate the high caliber of legal advice, received by national corporations and insurance companies is incredible.”
“I really enjoy donating my time to offer advice and counsel as part of this program,” said Buck.
